Pluto in Aquarius will make true crime/forensics & mass disasters the next popular thing, for good and for bad. The obsession is about to go completely mainstream

It will no longer be seen as a freak interest, it'll be considered fairly common, at least more than in the past.

I think we'll start to see this increase more rapidly when Jupiter enters Aries, and then Pluto in Aquarius will amplify it to an extreme.

As the energy shifts, people's curiosity will intensify and they'll become more naturally drawn to it.

Crime & disaster related content will be everywhere, memes too, and younger generations could start putting pictures of criminals up in their rooms and mimicking their styles/clothing. There will be more art, writing, media, fashion etc that provoke attention from the masses.

There will be many new 're-imaginings', movies & documentaries made of crimes, disasters, rebellions and events that have occurred throughout history.

Killers of the past will be treated like myths or fictional characters, especially when Neptune enters Aries.

There will be communities & "fandoms" centred around specific true crime cases, figures, & tragic events. (They already exist, but it will grow bigger than ever)

There's going to be a great disconnect or dissociation from the grounded reality of traumatic emotion involved in these violent cases.

But Pluto in Aquarius is also about the analyzation of 'dark' data, so this ability to transcend the rawness will have positive effects too.

Much of the attention will also be gained from researchers that wish to study these cases in detail, and crimes/criminals of the past will be better understood through the lens of criminology, sociology & psychology than they ever have before.

There will also be a massive influx of students enrolling in criminology, sociology and psychology classes, at University level or otherwise.

Especially among the Pluto in Sagittarius generation, since their Pluto will be sextile to Pluto in Aquarius.

This level-up in collective awareness will help us to fix many of the flaws in society that contribute to these mass-casualty incidents and toxic cycles of violence, and prevent them from repeating in the future.

It's about digging it all up by the roots

Thats what Pluto in Aquarius is for, it triggers the transformation & evolution of society by confronting it with its own darknesses.

Knowledge raises awareness, which raises our ability to change outcomes.

It will make us question why there is an increasing sense of resonance between the population and criminal cases, and what roles societal institutions have played in the context of those crimes. Everything is connected

The world's walls are closing in, and so the energy of rebelliousness is growing, and people will start to break the rules or better understand why others have done so in the past.

On a negative end, this newfound spread of information and mass fascination could also serve as a source of inspiration, causing some people to commit similar crimes. ("Copycats" some call it, though I feel this is trivializing, as it's a lot deeper & more complex than that.)

Another reason why I predict all this is because Pluto exalted in Aquarius will be opposing Leo, the sign of its fall.

Pluto is the dynamic of power and powerlessness.

And Leo represents people in positions of power, like Kings, Queens, Presidents, Priests, CEOs & celebrities.

People in these positions are 'above' the masses, ruling a person, community or society as a higher-octave entity, a "God-like" figure.

They have the authority to act as the conscious deciding force for the whole of that community and everyone within it.

So this also connects to the energy behind murder, as a killer is the one in power.

People like government officials, serial killers, or mass murderers for example, all get to decide who lives or dies.

They, in that higher position of power, determine the fate of another living person/mass of people beneath them.

That's the shadow of Pluto's fall in Leo.

And thats why all attention will be on them during the transit, in many controversial ways.

This is also why people like Ted Bundy can generate fascination and become so famous.

Leo rules fame, but also infamy, which is fame for negative or harmful deeds.

We can even go a step further and add that this also connects to Neptune's exaltation in Leo, and things like hybristophilia. (aka Bonnie & Clyde syndrome)

Neptune exalting in Leo (Pluto's fall) and ruling Pisces (Venus' exaltation) explains why killers get rose-tinted admirers who fall in love with them after their crimes, and why people can escape into fantasies or delusions that project onto criminals in various ways.

Not everyone who's interested in crime fits these categories, but it exists and it seems consistent in human behaviours throughout history.

Neptune in Aries will sextile Pluto in Aquarius, so you see where i'm going with this & why I mention it.

Pluto in Aquarius opposing Leo will confront us all with these infamous figures so that we are forced to analyse them and pay attention to the stories they have to tell.

They are case studies, and that's important. Understanding them is necessary for the progression of society

It's a well known fact that society has a strange fascination with serial killers and other morbid things.

It's why the news & media sensationalises everything, because shock gets attention.

Only this time, all the hype and craze that serial killers used to get in the mainstream, is what mass killers & mass casualty events will have next.

Serial killers are Pluto in Scorpio energy, and mass murderers/spree killers are Pluto in Aquarius energy.

Pluto in Scorpio mixes the dark energies of death, sex, crime and murder with plotting, stalking, and hiding in the shadows.

A lot of the most notorious serial killers of our time were active throughout Pluto in Scorpio (1984-1995).

Think of Richard Ramirez, who was literally nicknamed the "Night Stalker". He was active in the years 1984-1985, which is when Pluto had just entered Scorpio.

Jeffrey Dahmer was active until 1991, while Pluto was in Scorpio.

Aileen Wuornos between 1989 and 1990, which is when Pluto was in Scorpio.

I could go on, & these all involve sex acts too.

There are even books about the phenomenon of serial killing prevalent in the 1980s-90s.

Pluto in Aquarius, however, mixes the energies of death, crime and murder with the masses, the collective, society and groups of people.

It also links to the shocking and rebellious nature of Uranus and brings in the energy of sudden, unexpected events, like spree killings, mass shootings, cult suicides, and mass casualty incidents. Pluto will be in Aquarius from 2023-2044, bringing extreme focus to these topics

Unfortunately that does imply that new events like this could occur, but a lot of this transit will be heavily focused on ones that have already happened in the past. (Just like how Pluto in Scorpio also highlighted serial killers of the 1950s-70s.)

Any new events that happen throughout Pluto in Aquarius will highlight notable events of the past. New cults will lead to discussion about Jonestown, new shootings will lead to Columbine, etc.

One of the most relevant examples of mass murder today are in the form of mass shootings/bombings.

This phenomenon has been swept under the rug and ignored for far too long, and Pluto in Aquarius won't allow that any longer.

Pluto = destruction, and Aquarius = the masses. And public rampages are exactly that, an attack on the MASSES, an attempt to destroy a piece of society itself.

A LOT of attention will come to known mass shootings throughout Pluto in Aquarius. Especially with it transiting the USA's 3H of schools & local areas. I expect the 'Columbine community' in particular to grow exponentially in size

Streaming services like Netflix might make movies or documentaries about some of the most notable mass shootings/bombings throughout the 1990s-2010s. Columbine, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Aurora, Mandalay Bay, Pulse Nightclub, Parkland, and so on.

They may also make documentaries about cults like Jonestown or Heaven's Gate since that falls well into line with this Pluto in Aqua energy. The 'Jonestown community' will grow a lot as well.

The things we uncover about spree killers during Pluto in Aquarius will shine light on their motives, and align largely with the reform of capitalist societal structures (government, schools, workplaces, psychiatry, nuclear family etc), as well as the collapse of corporate reign.

I could write a whole essay on the history of mass shootings/rampages and how they are a side effect of capitalism, surging after the 'Reagan Revolution' of 1981. But until then, I recommend this as the Pluto in Aquarius handbook

In conclusion... Pluto in Aquarius will create a culmination of global interest in mass death events, both purposeful and accidental ones. From Titanic, to Columbine, to Covid 19, it will raise humanity's understanding of how and why they happen in their sociological contexts.
