Modern Brutalism

Harajuku station in Japan was torn down and rebuilt.

Ugly, grey, brutalist architecture that has spread like a cancer during the Pluto in Capricorn era.

Beautiful old vintage structures and time capsules with charm are being demolished in favour of these eyesores that do not fit their environments. With Pluto in opposition to Cancer, it forcably removes our physical connection from memories of the past. It is reflective of our dying culture and the soullessness of capitalism. Every building on every street entraps us within a labyrinth of concrete, in cities that now resemble prisons.

It has massacred craftsmanship, artistry, and imagination. A symptom of late stage capitalism, producing as much a we can for as cheap and simplistic as possible for maximum profits.

This links in with the disappearance of colour and the war on diversity

REJECT MODERNITY.
